If there’s anything the best beauty looks at the 2024 Golden Globes, Critics Choice Awards, and Emmys taught us, it’s that red carpet glamor is back—better and in more diverse ways. The glam teams of these actors and actresses have red carpet glamor down to a science, from the precise way hair falls to the exact gleam of a manicure. Every artist has their own vision and technique, but repetitions are bound to happen. Given everything we’ve seen from this awards season thus far, we’ve listed the beauty trends we expect to make repeat appearances at the remaining red carpet events—namely, the Grammys, BAFTA Awards, and Oscars.

Less is more

The past few years spawned a renewed love for no-makeup makeup looks in the form of glass skin and glazed donut skin trends. These then are typically paired with sleek buns or wet hair and no falsies to complete the clean and natural look. We saw more of this stripped-down approach to beauty this past awards season, with the most notable wearers of this look being Hunter Schafer at the Golden Globes and Greta Lee at the Critics Choice Awards.

Natural nails

There’s definitely still room for creative acrylic designs, but the natural skin-toned manicure is the clear trend among actresses on red carpet events. Some of the biggest names in Hollywood sported natural nails, like Amanda Seyfried, Sarah Snook, and Elle Fanning at the Golden Globes, Margot Robbie and Emma Stone at the Critics Choice Awards, and Jessica Chastain at the Emmys.

Monochrome makeup

Monochrome makeup is a flawless approach to a cohesive beauty edit. And as seen on the A-lists, you can’t go wrong with a brown-toned or pink-toned color palette for your eyes, lips, and cheeks. A key example of the former is America Ferrera at the 29th Critics Choice Awards and Margot Robbie at the 81st Golden Globes for the latter. Their makeup artists were Linda Hay and Pati Dubroff, respectively.

90s nostalgia

As expected, the nostalgia for 90s-era beauty persists, manifesting prominently among young Hollywood artists like Billie Eilish, Camila Morrone, and Ariana Greenblatt. From the smudged black eyeliner to the brown-lined lips, these three would not look out of place on a 90s-era red carpet. Missing, of course, are the iconic thin eyebrows, which have been replaced by today’s standard of fluffed and feathered eyebrows.

Architectural updos

Hair architecture also had its moment this past awards season. Key examples include Calah Lane’s hair art at the Critics Choice Awards, Jasmin Savoy Brown’s “twisted crown” hairstyle at the Emmys, and Florence Pugh’s faux-hawk at the Golden Globes. We also can’t forget hairstylist Davide Barbieri’s work on Rosamund Pike, who said the updo was “inspired by the appliqué flowers on the dress and the chemise.”

Stylish bobs and lobs

Short hair was also a favorite among the actresses present at the 2024 Golden Globes, Critics Choice Awards, and Emmys. Among those who donned shorter tresses, there were two common hair trends: Old Hollywood and the Flipped Bob. Key examples of the former include Cailee Spaeny and Greta Lee at the 81st Golden Globes. For the latter, we have inspired looks from Danielle Brooks and Ayo Edebiri, who opted for the slicked-back flipped bob.

Rediscover Romance with Tiffany & Co. and its Icons

Influenced by the works of famed Artistic Director and Vice President Gene Moore, Tiffany & Co. renews love with its new campaign celebrating its icons.

For the latest campaign of Tiffany & Co., award-winning photographer Dan Tobin Smith and set designer Rachel Thomas took inspiration from the iconic works of former and famed window dresser, Artistic Director, and Vice President of Tiffany & Co., Gene Moore. Together, they created “With Love, Since 1837″—a romantic tribute to the legacy of one of the world’s most iconic jewelry brands through the world of Moore.

Love is not always about grand gestures; it’s also about the small moments of connection and affection that make life meaningful. Sometimes, it’s as simple as walking by a window and being attracted by the shimmering display of jewelry—a window adorned by a luminary in American design history and a key figure in shaping Tiffany & Co.’s iconic brand image: Gene Moore.

At the heart of Moore’s approach was an appreciation for the power of simplicity. He bypassed grandiosity in favor of subtle refinement, using everyday objects to create elevated displays. From cascading paper flowers to floating silver orbs, Moore’s installations ensnared the attention of passersby—why else would Holly Golightly have breakfast at Tiffany’s?

During his illustrious four-decade tenure, Moore orchestrated over 5,000 window displays that radiated a cinematic charm. His creative palette included a verdant embrace of leaves, delicate petals of blossoming flowers, and the luscious bounty of ripe fruit. These pieces were artfully arranged to produce a romantic oasis against cloud-kissed backdrops.

Through the lens of Smith, the campaign captures classic motifs with snapshots of revitalized love, the beating heart of the campaign. From miniature to oversized scale models, every element is carefully framed to evoke wonder and awe. Every frame shares a story of enduring romance as it invites you to explore the rich history of Tiffany & Co.

In the artistic vignettes of the campaign, each collection reminds us that love takes many forms. The Lock bracelet, inspired by a brooch from 1883, symbolizes the bond between two souls. Meanwhile, the Tiffany® Setting engagement ring, with its six-prong setting, represents the eternal promise of love and commitment. The Knot collection, with its intricate designs and intertwining motifs, celebrates the ties that bind us together, while the HardWear collection pays homage to the bold, independent spirit of modern love.

For Tiffany and Co., renewal is a heartfelt ode. The “With Love, Since 1837” campaign crafts a new resurgence into cherished classics: passionately revived and celebrated. Photographer Dan Tobin Smith and set designer Rachel Thomas reborn and rediscovered the beauty of heritage with a fresh perspective—originally came to life by the love of Gene Moore.

Empowered and Free Woman Nadine

Nadine is the new face of Hiraya Pilipina, the lifestyle and advocacy brand for Filipinas nationwide. In providing innovative, inclusive, and modern solutions for women, Hiraya Pilipina has found in Nadine a truly awe-inspiring presence who shares in the brand’s vision and embodies their message.

Actress Nadine Lustre is Hiraya Pilipina’s first celebrity ambassador

Just last weekend, Hiraya Pilipina opened their first pop-up shop at Market! Market!, Taguig. Basking in this milestone, taking up a physical space to continue providing modern solutions for the modern Filipina, the brand also celebrates a momentous mark in their journey. While they are growing exponentially in sales with their niche products, Hiraya is a business with heart and passion—and Nadine is the forefront of this.

Nadine joins forces with Hiraya Pilipina to celebrate one’s true self through Hiraya Pilipina’s innovative products

“I’ve always introduced Hiraya Pilipina as a ‘small business’. And it really is. But now we’re taking it to the next level,” founder and CEO Cleo Loque shares with MEGA. In the celebration of Women’s Month, Cleo also says there was no other option except for Nadine to be the brand’s ambassador. “Siya lang, because Nadine is someone who has been very courageous in showing herself, in expressing her true self.”

As a empowered woman, Nadine Lustre aims to end the stigma surrounding period care—and encourages all Filipinas to do the same

In making products for innerwear and period care that are often shrouded in secrecy and shame, Hiraya and Nadine embrace these struggles and free themselves from the stigma—and encourage you to do so as well. As a brand built on these advocacies and values, Cleo continues on to say, “I’m just so grateful that we can strengthen our message because we now have someone as influential as Nadine to reach more people, inspire more people, and empower more women now that we have her as our ambassador, who is, really, the face of Hiraya Pilipina.”

Mental Health Advocate Nadine

Towards her campaign for a better world, Nadine pushes forward her beliefs and uses her influence in advocating for mental health importance. The actress uses her platform to continuously be vulnerable and brave in sharing how she suffered from depression and anxiety—and how taking part in several mental health initiatives could make an impact to break the stigma surrounding mental health. One of these initiatives is partnering with Yassi Pressman and Liza Soberano in becoming a celebrity investor and partner for Mind You, an online platform that provides easy and cheaper access to therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists to the people in need of them.

On sunny days, the dress is just the ticket to an elegant and chic summer ensemble befitting of a birthday girl. The fabric gave the dress a more carefree feel, but the fitted silhouette of the layered skirt, showing off her figure, the one-shoulder strap, and the falling sleeve made the look effortlessly sexy. The white is also a blank canvas for the intricate details sewn onto the skirt such as the seashells and the pearls.
