AUCTION HIGHLIGHTS: Best-Selling Blue Ovals at Barrett-Jackson’s 2024 Scottsdale Auction


LOT #1399 – 2019 FORD GT – $1,375,000

Ford fans came out in full force to bid on their favorite Blue Oval vehicles during Barrett-Jackson’s 2024 Scottsdale Auction, January 20-28 at WestWorld. Among the noteworthy Fords on the auction block was the charitable sale of a 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse VIN 001, with 100% of its $375,000 hammer price benefiting JDRF, and a 1968 Shelby GT350 convertible re-creation with 100% of its $100,000 hammer price benefiting the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation. Also topping the charts at The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions were beautiful Ford GTs, custom Broncos and Resto-Mod Mustangs. LOT #1399 – 2019 FORD GT – $1,375,000

Pictured above, this 2019 Ford GT is powered by a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine backed by a 7-speed Getrag dual-clutch automatic transmission. Finished in Shadow Black over a Re-Entry interior. Optional equipment includes exterior matte carbon fiber. 35 actual miles.


Complete ground-up build into a custom Resto-Mod by Havasu Speed. Has a Ford 5.0-liter Coyote engine mated to a Performance Automatic 4R70W 4-speed transmission. Complete independent front and rear suspension with air ride. Ron Mangus custom interior.

Triple-black Resto-Mod powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote engine with a 6-speed 6R80 transmission. Has a custom Nappa interior, Dakota Digital gauges, Restomod Air, concert sound system, QA1 coilover performance suspension, 20-inch Isotope wheels.

LOT #1376 – 2006 FORD GT – $550,000
Powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine and 6-speed manual transmission. Finished in the original Speed Yellow color with four options, including full black stripes, forged wheels, McIntosh stereo and red-painted calipers.
LOT #1366 – 1956 FORD F-600 CUSTOM PICKUP – $550,000

Powered by a 6.7-liter D&J Cummins engine. Sits on a Classic Car Studio-built frame with a fully customized body and interior. Finished in Glasurit paint with a hand-built quad cab with suicide doors. Rides on 323 Dually Sportz wheels.

LOT #1323.1 – 1970 FORD MUSTANG BOSS 429 – $462,000

Fully restored and powered by the 429ci V8 engine producing 375hp. Original engine and 4-speed manual drivetrain.

LOT #1413 – 2005 FORD GT – $451,000

Powered by a 5.4-liter Lysholm supercharged engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Has four options, is wrapped in a paint protection film and comes with a car cover, battery tender, tire kit and owner’s manual.

LOT #1444 – 2023 FORD BRONCO DR RACE TRUCK – $440,000

Powered by a 400hp 5.0-liter Coyote V8 paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Off-road Desert Racer with Baja Package, Multimatic dampers and safety cage. One of 50 built in 2023. Not street legal.

LOT #1094 – 1969 FORD MUSTANG BOSS 429 – $440,000

Rotisserie-restored and finished in Black Jade. Has its original transmission and date-correct differential. Has original sheet metal and most of the interior. Comes with the original Build Sheet and warranty card.

First “Widebody” licensed “Gone in 60 Seconds” Eleanor Limited Edition Mustang Fastback. Powered by a Ford Racing Predator 5.2-liter supercharged intercooled engine factory-rated at 760hp. Fresh rotisserie restoration with only test miles.
