It’s been a long time coming and it’s finally here. Notaker’s debut album Echoes In Eternity dropped on Friday as a self-release and it’s everything we’ve come to expect from the Anjuna and mau5trap alumni. Inspired by one of Marcus Aurelius’ most famous quotes, the versatile 13-track body of work contains various elements of Notaker’s vast musical stylings and influences he’s amassed over his life and career.

Teased over the past year with lead singles “Rainbow Eyes” feat. Danyka Nadeau, “Speed of Light” feat. Eric Lumiere, and “Unreal,” Echoes In Eternity is undoubtedly Notaker’s best work to date, showcasing the entire range of his creative ability. Fans will experience Notaker’s signature sound in a plethora of new ways paired with creative foley, cinematic interludes, and messages from the “unknown.” While known best for his midtempo-progressive style, Notaker’s newest is an indicator of how deep his musical influences go and the dynamic nature of his creative process, taking listeners on an emotional ride and setting the stage for more music to come. 

Title and focus track “Echoes In Eternity” is a proper statement piece of the LP, a tone-setter that builds anticipation and gets the adrenaline flowing. While both “Rainbow Eyes” and “Speed of Light” featured incredible vocalists that showcased Notaker’s ability to tie profound emotion into his sweeping melodies and shimmering synth work, “Unreal” is a masterclass of the D&B genre, while tracks like “Not Of This Dimension” and “The Illusion Of Time” operate as gentler, atmospheric offerings that connect each production together in a cohesive way. Final track “The Belt of Venus” closes things out with a bang, in a burst of climactic, euphoric melodies that is sure to leave listeners with a sense of contentment and peace.

Apple Music Replay Drops Before Spotify Wrapped

Apple Music Replay is back for another year, offering users a retrospective of their musical journey. Launched in 2019, the feature underwent a significant update last year, aligning it more closely with the popular Spotify Wrapped. This year’s Replay, accessible through Apple Music’s webpage, provides a comprehensive summary of your most-listened-to songs, artists, albums, and more. To kickstart the musical reflection, Apple has released Replay just days before Spotify is anticipated to unveil its Wrapped stats.

A Web-Centric Experience

Unlike Spotify Wrapped, which boasts highly shareable charts, A.M.R.’s stats lack the same visual appeal for online sharing. Interestingly, these statistics are not directly integrated into the Apple Music app. However, users can still access their 2023 Replay playlist within the app. The Replay feature not only showcases a delightful highlight reel of favorite songs and artists but also includes a milestone tracker, measuring accomplishments such as reaching the milestone of listening to 1,000 songs.

Navigating Your Replay

To view your Replay for the year, simply head to replay.music.apple.com and log in with your Apple ID. The platform provides an in-depth breakdown of your listening habits throughout the year. With Spotify Wrapped set to launch in early December, Apple seems keen on giving Replay a head start, ensuring users get a chance to explore their musical journey before being engulfed by the impending Wrapped stats, widely shared on social media platforms,

This past October, Suwannee Hulaween celebrated its tenth anniversary with a slew of incredible star performers, stunning art installations, and moments of connection.

Once again returning to Spirt of Suwannee Music Park, Hulaween showcased its affinity for music of all genres with headliners like Pretty Lights, The String Cheese Incident, John Summit, Channel Tres, Elderbrook, Big Wild, Mt. Joy, and many more.

And while the festival typically keeps its art installations hidden until the day of the event, this year they teased ten new installations for the ten-year anniversary including a new 360-degree Spirit Lake, the Incendia art stage conceptualized by Cory Glenn, and a daily projection mapping spectacle by the esteemed Jasper & Shelby Mosher.
