Held from August 11 to 13, 2023, the atmosphere was nothing short of magical. A realm where music, friendship, and carefree spirit converged in perfect harmony, this was every dance music lover’s dream. Having attended previous editions, we were astounded by the remarkable transformation that had taken place since the earlier years.

Weekend One – August 11-13: Grooves and Beats under the Sun

The first weekend of the double-header was a thrilling ride that left an indelible mark on every festival-goer fortunate enough to experience it. The radiant energy of the crowd mirrored the blazing sun as we delved into the soulful rhythms that filled the air at partner resorts – the Margaritaville, Renaissance, and Saguaro. This year’s 10th-anniversary celebration brought about an unprecedented wave of talent, delivering artists that sent shockwaves through the dance floors.

One of the standout moments was the unexpected brilliance of Lee Foss b2b Deeper Purpose, who left an unforgettable imprint on our musical souls. Prior to this weekend, we had yet to discover the captivating prowess of Veggi. His set was a revelation, showcasing an uncanny ability to connect with the crowd and craft an electrifying journey through sound. These newfound favorites were seamlessly woven into a lineup that featured household names like CID, LP Giobbi, J. Worra, Cut Snake Adapter, and so many more.

Venues Designed for the Ultimate Experience

Firstly, one of the most impressive facets of this year’s Splash House was the impeccable organization and logistics. Secondly, in stark contrast to past events, transportation was a breeze, eliminating the frustrations of overcrowding and long wait times. Thirdly, the three iconic venues – the Renaissance Hotel, Margaritaville Resort, and Saguaro Palm Springs – offered an atmosphere of sheer euphoria without the drawbacks of poor acoustics or overpacked spaces. Further, it goes without saying that this was a true dance-filled oasis.

We reveled in the crystal-clear waters of the pools, finally able to dance and splash without feeling like sardines. The Palm Springs Air Museum, where the After Hours programming unfolded, proved to be a massive hit. The night air, combined with the backdrop of vintage airplanes, created an enchanting ambiance that elevated the festival experience to unprecedented heights.

The camaraderie among attendees was palpable. Additionally, strangers became friends as we sunbathed, swam, and danced to the eclectic beats. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the party didn’t stop – it transitioned to the iconic Palm Springs Air Museum. In the process ensuring that our nights were as memorable as the scorching days.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, Splash House’s after-hours programming took center stage at the Palm Springs Air Museum. ODESZA, Phantoms, Maya Jane Coles, and QRTR delivered electrifying performances that kept the energy high and the party going well into each respective night. Additionally, this enchanting fusion of music and atmosphere created an unforgettable experience. One that left attendees with memories to cherish.

Creamfields To Build Largest Indoor Stage Ever For 2024

Creamfields is going big for 2024, really big. The UK Music Festival took to Instagram to announce an incredible new stage for 2024. The APEX Stage will be the largest indoor festival superstructure ever.

Called ‘APEX’, it will have a capacity of 30,000. The stage will be open Friday-Sunday of the festival with an extended 4 am close time on Saturday. This is the latest end time of the festival to date.

Previous mainstages of Creamfields always featured a giant LED screen and plenty of production around it. However, given the unpredictable weather in England, this structure will shield festival-goers from the elements.

The pictures of the proposed stage look stunning. Creamfields will take place from August 22nd – 25th at Daresbury, Cheshire. It has a daily attendance of 70,000 over the 4 days. There are limited tickets available here.

Tomorrowland Winter Confirms Full 2024 Lineup With Vintage Culture, Nina Kraviz, + More

Just because it’s getting colder outside doesn’t mean excitement for festivals has to slow down. Tomorrowland Winter has confirmed the full lineup for its 2024 return to the French Alps.

From March 16-23, 2024, over 150 artists spanning the entire electronic spectrum will ascend to the Alpe d’Huez ski resort for a week of dancing on the highest peaks surrounded by panoramic, snow-capped views.

New additions include underground titans like ANNA, Yulia Niko, Mind Against, and Sama’ Abdulhadi, alongside champions of bigger sounds like Alesso, Laidback Luke, Vini Vici, and Blasterjaxx.

A cornerstone of the Tomorrowland Winter experience is dancing in complete cold weather gear, which attendees will be able to do on the stage aptly titled Top Of The Mountain (which sits at 3,300 meters above sea level). This comes in between hitting the slopes and even having the chance to go dog sledding or paragliding over the icy peaks.

However, throughout the week, attendees will also be able to dance indoors as the festival takes over the entire Alpe d’Huez resort. Many of the stages are covered and heated, and guests can enjoy all the other amenities the resort offers like fine dining and spa experiences.
