The new London restaurant officially opened on June 21 and is located in a unique setting at Paddington Central. With heated outdoor seating at the front overlooking the amphitheatre on Sheldon square and a terrace at the back of the new restaurant where guests can enjoy a view of the canal.
The new wagamama has been specially designed with ample space for click and collect/delivery, which has risen from strength to strength at wagamama so guests will be able to enjoy both the dine-in and takeout experience they know and love.

wagamama, renowned for its iconic katsu curry as well as a menu packed full of fresh, nourishing dishes including rice bowls, noodles and curries, is expecting huge demand for the new restaurant from local residents as well as businesses in the area.
The Paddington restaurant will be cooking up wagamama favourites in addition to some brand new bowls for guests to enjoy, including their brand new hiyashi bowls, part of their summer menu innovation. Three light and bright noodle bowls, taking inspiration from the Japanese summer ramen, will be available for dine-in at wagamama Paddington. Plus, in the wake of their most innovative vegan menu to date, the new restaurant will be serving all of their now famous vegan menu including the latest dine-in exclusive, vegan chilli squid, which has been a hit with both plant-based and flexitarians alike.

wagamama senior regional marketing manager Sita Dobbs said: “We are delighted to be opening in Paddington and can’t wait to welcome our guests to this newest restaurant in such a beautifully unique setting. The team have been working hard to prepare for this newest opening and are so excited to be serving our nourishing menu in their beautiful new restaurant. Keeping true to our ethos, there is no booking required to dine at wagamama Paddington. As always, our team are keeping the safety of our guests as the upmost importance. With our innovative sliding shoji screens, continued social distancing and the wearing of masks plus thorough health and safety measures and checks in place for each shift, they’re ready to welcome our loyal guests safely. We are opening in Paddington with our brand new summer menu, including our summer ramen bowls and of course our fan favourites across our main, vegan and kids menus.”
The new restaurant features 162 internal seats and an outside dining area with 36 seats. Wagamama has put in place numerous measures to ensure the safety of both guests and staff, including innovative sliding shoji screens to aid with distancing, reduced capacity within the restaurant, the continuation of the wearing of face masks and regular and thorough health and safety checks for all staff before, during and after shifts.
